But... This $2.99 Kindle book is almost magical in its brevity, heartfelt message, effectiveness and practicality. I have re-read Kamal's book in order to help myself during stressful times in my life. I personally practice his self- 7-minute meditation with music and it feels awesome. Great book and highly recommended.

She battles depression and said this book helped her cope with some of her negative thoughts.I knew this was about 68 pages so it wasn’t going to be overwhelming with self-help points.I liked what the author did with this book. He didn’t dumb it down and he didn’t try to say more then what was needed. If you battle negative thoughts and struggle with mental health issues, this might help you as it helped my friend.Good advice to change the negative loop in your head to something positive. I think we can all work on this concept in a society that tries to pull you down.Say this constantly throughout the day or even while having tough times in your life."I love myself. I love myself. This book is a game changer. I read it in about an hour. Then the next day I read it again. And then I started doing what he tells you to do. It seemed too simple to be truly useful. But I was wrong. The effect of saying "I love myself" over and over every day was astonishing. My unscientific explanation of it is that I am reprogramming my body. I am teaching it to believe in a new approach to living. I am conditioning it to respond differently in situations. Don't take my word for it. Just read it. And start doing it.

What a great book, worth a read. Its simple, really easy to read to the point,worth the money the only thing I wish they could change the front cover somehow less suicidal that was one of the reasons it put me off buying it but samething was telling me to buyit and I'm glad I did.

Love his writing, his honesty, just his whole style of naked honesty. I was having a hard time, a really hard time and then yesterday I believe I allowed myself to hit bottom. Then I had sort of accidentally checked out Kamal's (Amit?) book called "Rebirth, A Fable of Love, Forgiveness, and Following Your Heart," and much to my great surprise it was about his pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago. I've been wanting to do that for years - but have been too sick to do it. Well, I got my liver transplant last year and have been building what I call my Tea Cup List (to hell with ugly buckets). And it's on there. The next natural move was to go over to Amazon and buy the Kindle version. I could barely sleep last night I was so excited about reading it and how I could see it was already changing my life. Thank you, Kamal Ravikant. You totally rock. I love myself and I love you. <3

I enjoyed the bits of information about the lifestyles of the dogs and, albeit limited information, it helped me understand the reason for chaining the dogs, which I have always been bothered with. I liked the admittance of our human limitations and the lessons learned by our canine companions.

Get Winterdance, Woodsong, My life in Dog years, and this one to start. I love his true-life first-person writing. He is one of my favorites. I wish he would do more true-life first person about his life with his dogs--ESPECIALLY Cookie and how he came to acquire her, make her well, and into the best lead dog he ever had....MORE MORE MORE Gary Paulson PLEASE!! PLEEEEEZE!

I had a very good time reading through the Winterdance, that is an exciting, funny and emotional account of the author's experience in the Iditarod. This short book for me was a welcomed extension to learn more about his relationship with the dogs and about the post Iditarod life of his exceptional leading dog and friend, Cookie. Recommended for anyone else that found admiration in both Cookie and the Gary and their relationship.

So very sweet. I bought this for some of my students who enjoy Paulsen, but I picked it up and started to read it myself. Paulsen's love for, and devotion to, his dogs is more evident than ever.

Nolo Press has the best, most informative books. Had to purchase this when a tenant abandoned the house and left most of their furniture and belongings behind. It took me through each step in the eviction process and notifying them to come get their things and when I could dispose of them.

The utility of this book is up for debate I would say. I just took my GMAT today and while this book was ultimately helpful for some questions I found that I was not 'stumped' by the OG's answer explanations very often. I had to turn to this book probably 5-10 times because of questions whose answers just didn't make sense. If you are using Manhattan GMAT's full strategy guides, this book is helpful because it approaches the questions from the MGMAT perspective (i.e. sometimes the OG will answer questions in a different style from what MGMAT taught you -- it was helpful those few times to turn to this book and ask "how would you solve it MGMAT?"). A different perspective does not hurt!

The book is another high quality product from Manhattan GMAT. The reason for an Official Guide Companion is that many ofus may use OG 12 as the GMAT Bible but struggle with some of the questions/explanations. This book does 2 main things: 1)Provides more extensive and clearer explanations to quantitative questions based on the input from MGMAT students and 2)Shows alternative ways to solve problems, often pointing out shortcuts.Highlights: * GREAT: Alternative methods of solution (shortcut ideas) for the questions, esp helpful for the DS questions * GREAT: Difficulty level identified for every question - apparently the OG 12 is not truly organized by difficulty, which many of us had a suspicion about. Knowing difficulty allows you to understand while level you are at. * GOOD: Expanded and more detailed explanations to the OG 12 math questions * BAD: No Verbal question coverage (should really be called Quant Companion)REMEMBER: Always use a timer for your practice; even a first-grader can figure out how to solve a question in an hour.BOTTOM LINE: If you struggle with Math from the Official Guide, then definitely get this book - You'll like the explanations. In this case, you may also want to pick up Foundations of GMAT Math too.If you are OK with math, you may not get as much from it since it is only designed for the Official Guide and is NOT a Guide/Strategy book. This was the most useful product I used during my GMAT prep once I had gone through all of the MGMAT books. This book gets little mention on MBA sites but it is invaluable as it provides different ways to solve the OG than just the OG approach and you can figure out which method is more intuitive. I was able to hit well above that 700 mark thankfully and made it into a top 15 business school.

I had purchased the Manhattan program of books for the GMAT and then I decided to buy this book to help with the OG questions and I can tell you, this book is extremely useful. This book is a must if you're doing practice questions from the Official Guide while simultaneously studying the Manhattan GMAT quantitative strategy guides. This book provides explanations to the OG problems using the Manhattan GMAT approach from the strategy guides. These explanations helped me understand some of the tougher problems way better than the god-awful explanations in the OG. Seriously, the explanations in the OG are nothing short of terrible and vague at best. This book will eliminate the need for you to frustrate yourself trying to understand the OG's explanations.

You HAVE to buy this as a supplement to the OG book. I don't know if they have a 13th Ed. yet for the new one, but this one was AMAZING for the 12th Ed. The solutions are WAY better explained and the shortcuts sometimes faster. Sure you could just google all the problems online, but who has time for that if you are studying without a laptop?Get this book!

Further access to online video explanations for many of the more difficult explanations is provided. I wish Manhattan had a companion for the official quantitative review guide as well.

Used and rented for Business Law class. I would have to say that I did not like the back of it which was not well taken care of. Renting a book can go either way. The meaning, explanation and examples made this book something easy to learn and understand.

Easy to understand and follow. Simple clear language. Purchased for a class but there is lots of valuable life info in here.

If you're an advisor, whether you need a push or not, and regardless if you're new to the business or an old hand, this book is for you and a don't miss. Mullen does a nice job describing what he sees as important executables - and should as he was in the industry for many years as a branch manager. The scripts are well done, but of course you'll want to tailor them to your style. He's a huge advocate of doing/following/mimicking the success of million-dollar producers and follows this theme throughout the book in great detail.This is book is third in line of important books to read if you're an advisor and is only behind Nick Murray's "Game of Numbers" and "Behavioral Investment Counseling", but it's a book that should add value to your practice. Mullen also authored "The Million Dollar Financial Advisor" but it simply isn't near as good as this book and would be much further down my list of books in this category.

I was actually reluctant to purchase this book because of all of the great reviews. I thought they had to be given something in return for a favorable review. But this book IS THE REAL DEAL! I purchased it (kindle version to receive quicker) because I need a business plan to present to prospective financial brokerage firms....and I have had writers block for two months. I have received some good information from a few advisors that I know who are now 20 years in the business and independent, and though their advice was helpful,they didn't give me anything concrete to put in a plan.Bottom line is this. If I would have had a plan like this 12 years ago when I started real estate, it would have been game over by now. If you want to write a business plan that you can implement and be successful with, buy this book right now.I can't say enough good things about this book. The only thing though, for you and I, is that once this plan is complete, work our fricken tails off.Buy this, create your own plan and follow it.I can't believe this author doesn't have a big online presence or following.Most of this information applies to other service industries as well.Good luck and much success to you.

I like the simple and practical format is the book on a complex and legally complex industry with non legalese language but ver practical advise and strategy.I recommend the book to anyone considering staring a financial advisor business or marketing related profession.I have it the 4 star rating based on the valuable and simple way of teaching the subject.

Just know you need to a Series 7, 63 & 65 or 7 & 66 to use the strategy in this book to build your business. I mention this because some places try not to sponsor for a 65 or 66.

This is a great book for any new adviser that is serious about growing their business to a million dollar practice!

Came on time and is attractive. The maps themselves are interesting. There is more than enough room in the box for each day to write appointments. As a general matter, the British Museum has a lot of interesting items and the web site is worth checking out.

British Library Map Calender had good quality map picutres. Better then some othermap Calenders. I will add the map calender to my map collections at end of 2014.The Calender map did arrive in the mail on time and in very good condition.

I bought this calendar for my father, who loves ancient maps. I have it on good authority (from him), that the maps are amazing , the detail fantastic, and all in all, a gorgeous calendar

The calendar was damaged when it was delivered. The low half of the corner was wet, dark and wrinkled with dirty water and dust due to the ripped and damped package. It was supposed to be a gift but It could not be given because of the damage.
